I’m taking some time off between Christmas and New Years and the free time has given me the chance to think about the year to come and what I want to accomplish.
Traditionally New Years Resolutions focus on self improvement and often times lead to broken resolutions as we set unreasonable goals that are close to impossible to stick with.
This year I’m trying something different and instead focusing on gratitude for what I have and in a similar vane, living in the moment and having more fun because life is short and every moment should be appreciated.
So without further ado, here is my list of New Years Resolutions:
- Continue to reflect on how fortunate I am as I wind down the day
- Donate time or money to a cause that I deeply care about
- Say yes to more activities and be more social
- Invest in experiences over material things that have more emotional impact
- And overall, stop being so serious and have more fun!
What are your New Year’s Resolutions?!?!?!
xoxo,
Kristina
