Christmas is just around the corner and after much holiday shopping self control, I finally treated myself and purchased my favorite and new holiday candles to celebrate the season.
When it comes candles, I like variety so I can choose a scent based on my mood and I made sure to cover my favorite scents, but with a holiday spin!
My go to Fall and Holiday candle is Voluspa’s Baltic Amber. The scent is warm and alluring with notes of decadent vanilla, creamy sandalwood and glowing amber. It’s not your average holiday candle, but it definitely compliments the magical mood of the holidays.
This year I was drawn to Anthropologie’s Anecdote Candles for their unique and transportive fragrances and Descriptions. I love Hometown Roadtrip because it’s fresh and exhilaration, like running through the woods after the first snow and Winter Social is super festive with notes of juicy red berries and fizzy champagne.
The last candle I purchased was Anthropologie’s Mission Fig & Cashmere candle and I bought it not only for the fragrance but also for the vessel. The fig note isn’t too green and actually captures the smell of a roasted fig that you might indulge in at a holiday dinner. The warm cashmere wraps the fragrance in cozy warmth, like being fireside with loved ones. Once I’m done burning it, it’s going to be my new favorite vase for fresh cut flowers. The gift that keeps on giving!
