Art exhibits are my go to source for inspiration when life is feeling dull. I miss my days living in New York and checking out the next new gallery or going to the Met to see the classics. Luckily, I live near Laguna Beach which has a large artist community and various galleries and festivals to inspire.
Here is a list of my all time favorite museums, exhibits and galleries across the world as well as virtual exhibits to keep everyone inspired during Covid times.
- The Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris, specifically Ellsworth Kelly’s Spectrum VIII
- The Met’s Annual Costume Institute’s Exhibition following the Met Gala, specifically the Manux x Machina exhibit in 2016
- The Tate Modern and their extensive Andy Warhol collection
- Laguna Beach’s Sawdust Art Festival and all the local, coastal inspired artists
- Dan Flavin’s Seminal Light Art that I saw at a gallery in NYC, but also on display in a gallery in Bridgehampton
- And lastly, click here to see museums across the world virtually, from the comfort and safety of your home
